ABOUT IOJT

The International Organization for Judicial Training (IOJT) was established in 2002. The mission of the IOJT is to promote the rule of law by supporting the work of judicial education around the world. IOJT:

• Organizes in-person and virtual global and regional conferences, 
• Works cooperatively with like-minded organizations to offer programs to judges, judicial educators and others interested in judicial education 
• Provides opportunities for judges and judicial educators to discuss strategies for establishing and developing training centers, designing effective curricula, developing faculty capacity, and improving teaching methodology. 

The IOJT is a volunteer, non-profit organization and relies upon the efforts and good will of its members. IOJT recently moved the corporate headquarters to Canada. An MOU signed between IOJT and NJI sets out the administrative and governance support that NJI will provide to IOJT.
